Subject: Road Trip to Kill Islanders... Mon Mar 10, 2014 11:20 pm
So I'm not going to start this post with harden the F$%K up which I know will make at least 7 of you smile.
So, I'm talking with Van Island guys (Knights of Ni and Bad Co and we're discussing the possibility of a Van verse Island Redneck weekend.
They'd get the teams from north and south Island and we could in theory work it out in Nanaimo although the Red Lion is in Victoria...:-)
We'd need to send 40+ guys or 2-3 teams...and as we're only just talking about it the options are open...
This post is to see if there is any interest. I'm actually sad as their running Operation Beef Totem this week and who wouldn't want to be a part of something like that...
PM me if you think it's worthwhile or post...carpooling is a must and we could go Sat early as their looking for a 24 milsim...totally open as I mentioned. In the US we'd travel every 2 months to somewhere in CA to play and it's a great time and get to meet a ton of people.
Would be great to see local teams working together as well on "foreign" soil...

It would make a nice change of pace from the usual local fields we play at for sure.

Well their keen on doing something different and it sounds like they go up and down island to play different fields...they figure Nanaimo in June would work pretty well.

Myself and a couple others from Legio XIII might be interested in this, too, given enough notice. Mind you, schedules get pretty busy, quickly, but we're interested.

I think and it's just an approx. date we'd look at the 7th or the 14th and see if everybody is cool with a 24 hour game. I'll continue to work on it and start getting a Roster together of players.
