May 18th Game Day Calling All Operators

Hi All,

This is a call to arms for this coming Sunday, May 18th for all of our friends and fellow Airsofters.  Its a long weekend and the weather should be perfect (not too hot or cold) so grab your favorite pew pew, load up your mags, strap on those boots and get your ass to Mars ;)errr Panther.

For those of you who were unable to attend the last few Sundays, you should know that we have run a couple of exciting, new variations on old favorites.  Attack and defend style games now involve actually hacking an NSA server using a jump drive program.  One team has to get the jump drive with a designated hacker to the defending team's Server Laptop and run the 5 to 6 minute program on a laptop under fire.  Sounds simple but its a tough mission and requires great team work.  And yes we mean actual USB stick and actual Laptop running a real program...no make believe cardboard boxes here!

Also, last weekend we played a new style of Rush where each team is in control of a mobile Flag Spawn point that gets deployed by a designated Engineer.  This game generated great feedback since both teams have to protect the engineer and choose wisely how far forward to deploy the spawn point...go too far and it could fall into enemy hands.

Just a note update, spent most of the week down at the field working on the parking lot including clearing an long shooting area for the upcoming airsoft chrono range.
Also the swamp east of the dirt mound field ( below and toward the creek) we started draining this week.....three trenches and 7 new bridges to cross the trenches.
Also put together the two beams to replace the North bridge, and cut all the cross pieces for connecting the two beams ( 48 foot long beams, the old bridge was edge to edge 36 feet)now just a matter of putting in place and screwing it all together.

Already used a box of 500 screws and 1/2 way through number two
Beams are 2x12 and 2x10's glued and screwed together offsetting joints, and ready to be walked on

That area will soon be filled with Tank Traps in the swampier areas that don't drain, including bunkers on the hillside below Asylum and 3 landing craft near the single power pole......Omaha Beach?
